Being just 200 metres from Short Point Beach we are often enthralled by the dolphins riding the waves, between September and November when the whales are returning to the south. Beach Cabins Merimbula is here for you to come for a holiday by yourself or for a family get-together. With seventeen family cabins and eight studios for couples there is accommodation for all.

Our children’s playgrounds, solar heated pool, BBQ facilities and gardens are very well maintained with lots of open space for all to enjoy. There’s also a range of birds from Kookaburras to Lorikeets that love to be hand fed.
Surrounded by beach, lake and bush, the cabins are the ideal destination for your holiday. Enjoy the gardens surrounding each cabin, hand feed the abundant birdlife, observe the natural habitat or choose to fish from the beach. Located just 2kms from the town centre, restaurants, shops & most sporting facilities are all within a 2 min drive. There is a cabin for every occasion, be if you would like privacy & quiet, close to the playground so you can see the children or choose the Beachfront Cabins for a fabulous view. WiFi access is available so you can keep in touch with family or business.
Types of accommodation
Studios for couples, two-bedroom family cabins Q+3S or our three-bedroom cabins have a choice of Q+Q+2S or Q+2S+2S. All cabins are self-catering, linen is included in the rate. Flat screen RV/DVD, Wireless Internet access. The park has playgrounds for children, solar heated swimming pool, Volleyball/badminton court, large BBQ areas and the best outlook in Merimbula.
How to get to here
Merimbula is 2.5 hours south-east of Canberra, 6 hours south of Sydney and 7 hours north of Melbourne. Rex Airlines fly into Merimbula from Sydney and Melbourne, VLine Buses also come through Merimbula.
Best time to visit
Merimbula is an all season location, there is always something you can do.
